Summer Scramble Treasure Hunt

Hunt for Not-So Buried Treasure

Who doesn’t love a good treasure hunt? Especially when it takes place in your own backyard (or at least, in your own community).

Get ready for the second annual Summer Scramble, a West Seattle Treasure Hunt, coming August 1st through the 4th. And, as with all the events I sponsor, it’s FREE!

Play by yourself, or gather a team. Download the clues and the map and find the solutions that will lead you to local businesses and “treasured” West Seattle public sites. Last year, I focused on city parks. This year, many of the non-business locations are historically significant West Seattle sites.

Every team  that solves all 25 clues and submits selfies to prove it, will qualify to win the contents of one of the three treasure chests. The chests are filled with a variety of goodies, mostly donated by local businesses, including Just in Case.

Last year, 88 teams registered (with an average of 3 persons per team) for the first annual Summer Scramble. 20 of those teams solved all 40 clues (we’ve reduced the number this year) to qualify for the treasure chest drawing.

Registration for this year’s hunt opens soon. More information at wondersinaliceland.com/summer-scramble

If you have a business you’d like to promote by donating a prize to the treasure chests, just let me know. Alice@JustInCasePlans.com
